Am I giving my community the right diet?
I have a community tank with the following fish currently living in it:
balloon mollies, platies, gold and white cloud mountan minnows, neon tetras, female bettas, cherry barbs, a BN catfish and guppies.
I feed them a couple of different flakes, dried daphnia, freeze dried bloodworms, algae wafers, betta pellets, frozen brine shrimp, live bloodworms and live brine shrimp. Also sometimes vegetables like cucumber. The baby guppies also get liquifry in their separate little breeding box (as will the mollies and platies when they finally decide to give birth!). Do you think this is a good diet or is there anything I am missing out?
um, wow, that sounds like a very well-rounded diet. making me re-think my fishes' cuisine :-)
i'd caution against too much brine shrimp (give like a treat only). your pleco will love all of that esp the veggies. i can't think of anything to add to that!
Thanks stephanie! I have 3 African dwarf frogs hence the live food but yeah I only give it to my fish now and again and it's normally bloodworms.
