Algae on tank

Hello all, its me again. I was just wondering if you have to leave the purple algae that forms on the glass or can i clean it off?

It's your tank, clean what you want. The purple is just a sign of a good tank. The hard purple stuff, if it's slick like slime that's cyano and that's bad. Scrubbing coraline algae causes it to spread to the rock faster.

yeah, you can remove the coraline algea if you want. most saltwater owners let it grow and cover th back of the glass. (atleast most that i have seen...lol)
