CUC not sufficient = Algae Problem

I am beginning to think I do not have a large enough CUC for my tank.

Tank = 30Gallon Biocube, mostly stock minus Bio balls, adding some Poly filter.

I have around 2 Hermit crabs, 2 Nassarius Snails, 1 Margherita Snail, 3 turbo snails, 2 astrea snails.

what should I have? I do have a noticeable hair algae problem.

Algae problems are not directly related to CUC. What is your source water, protein skimmer, Nitrate, Calcium and Alklanity readings? Are they drastically different than they have been lately?
