My Guppy Gave Me 21 new babies today, and she's not done!
I'm happy to announce that Lily, one of my expecting guppies, has given birth today. Her first baby was born at ten o'clock this morning and she's still going! So far she's given me 21 beautiful babies. Unfortunately two were stillborn... :( This is the second fry that has been produced by my pregos in the past week. The first one came from Coral on Sunday, she spawned 26 babies and no stills. I've got my hands full! But I'm happy that Lily seems to be making it okay. Anyone else "having babies"? lol
Glad everything is well despite having 2 stillborns.:) Doesn't matter if there are stillborns as guppies are far too prolific.:)
I voted no but this is in the sense of keeping them in the aquarium. Haven't kept livebearers in my tanks for the last 5 years with the exception of guppies and platies breeding a lot in the pond. I have included some angelfish to control the population. I dread seeing a pond full of fish.:shake:
