very interested in a moss wall
How much moss should i buy to start a moss wall in a 75g? Any tips?
Calculate the lenght and height of the wall you want and post here, i`ll try to give you some advice.
Look at this video to see how to do it but use mesh with bigget holes and use enough moss to cover the entire mesh, the guy in the video was a bit short on moss.
The tiniest bit of java moss can grow into a massive amount. Just depends how patient you are willing to be in letting it grow.
I used a 1/4 cup to built my wall for the 10g side-to-side top to bottom and it took something like 2 months to grow in well. If I'd have wanted it thickly covered from the start I'd have used 2 cups for a 10g.
So if you wanna do the entire back of a 75g and well covered from the start a house number around 10-15 cups full will get you started but if you want it covered well from the start you'd prop rather need something around 20 cups.
