Using ro/di Waste water for Freshwater tanks

Hey i just picked up a ro/di filter. And am wondering if the "waste water" would be good for my tank ?
Im starting a planted tank Slowly adding plants as i can afford them. Anyway does anyone use there waste water for there freshwater tanks ?:-)

It's somewhat rare for freshwater fishkeepers to have an RO/DI unit and those who do are using the RO water for their tanks. I think you might want to ask this question in the saltwater section. Personally, I have no idea what sorts of stuff might be in the waste water so I'm not so sure it'd be a good idea to use this stuff in any fish tank.

Agree. One uses RO to remove substances that otherwise make the water unsuitable or less suitable for the fish; why would one then put it back?
