Feeding your fish
 

Hi' when feeding your fish.Is it right that you don't feed them for one day in a week, but only feed the babies Thanks.Mark

Yes fish can go 1 day without food each week. Some people "fast" their fish one day a week. I don't see the point in fasting them but if you want to skip feeding once a week they'll be ok. (:

Funny you asked a question about feeding. I talked to someone at Kahoot's pet store and she told me that they feed all the fish in the store every other day. I've been feeding mine twice a day but I think I might go every other day as I have alot of tiny snails in my sand. I dropped down my feeding to once a day with Wednesday being the day I do not feed them. I guess feeding every other day will be good for your water quality and the snail population will go down. As for tiny baby fish I would feed twice a day til they get bigger.

I fast mine once a week. I've heard that it is good for their digestive tracts to fast them once a week.
