A belated "hi" everybody (I've already posted a barrage of questions:-D).
I had a 40-litre tank for a few years but I got sick and didn't replace the fish as they died and eventually packed it away when I lost the last one. I recently decided to restock it but I found a crack in it so I bought a new 35-litre one (the nearest I could get to fit my stand).
I've been advised that the fish (platies) the aquarium shop sold me aren't a good fit for that tank, so I'm getting a 75-litre as well. (I didn't need much convincing to get a second tank, it can get very addictive learning and planning what to do.)
I'm hoping that the knowledgeable members here can help me with my utter confusion after reading/hearing so much conflicting information. I also aspire to eventually knowing something that might help somebody else. You never know, eventually something might sink in.
