Is this stocking ok? In my 10g tank which is just heavily planted (well, on it's way... growing stuff out in there) and no filter. 3 ballon mollies and a betta? |
Do you have a picture of it somewhere here? (Low, medium, heavy planted is a definition that's hard to 'measure' as everybody will view that differently lol) Liverbearers and now filter is that gonna stay that way long term (considering the amount fry & food involved i mean). |
1 Attachment(s) Well, I have a 44g specifically for my fry. I was planning on just keeping a lot of plants and not getting a filter ever for it. Currently has 1 balloon molly, a betta, and a plecostomus... I'm gonna get rid of the pleco soon I had it from my other tank but then I completely cleaned it and figured it wouldn't have algae. I bought it before I joined the forum and learned lots of stuff so he's kinda a misfit and there USED to be lots of algae int he 10g but now I feed him cucumbers every once in a while since there isn't any now... I know it's not too heavily planted, but I am letting the plants grow out and am going to take cuttings of the stem plants... I have a few rotala indica stems and one ludwigia repens stem (its not doing too good idk why), and hornwort (it has already doubled in size) and make new ones. As well as hope the dwarf saggitarius and corkscrew val send off shoots soon. :p Oh and there's a patch of java moss. It's not THAT heavily planted yet imo but it will hopefully be soon.... :D nice pic of my balloon molly, eh? ;D |
Yes, The Stocking is fine what i'll watch out for is the Mollies they can be very annoying and "Pecky" Especially for a Slow Moving Betta with Long Finnage Amriel |
Ok, I'll keep an eye on the betta. |
