And last but not least here's the two 10g's and the changes they went through between set up (20 Dec) and today (March 11th).

As you can see what started out with something like a 1/4cup Java moss in the black sand tank now covers the entire back wall (makes for a nice shrimp home). Driftwood had to move out do to softening the water too far.

On the light colored sand the Hairgrass has spread a lot nice new runners over the past 2 months now and that's really filling in nicely now can't wait myself to see that tank some 6 months from now.

These 2 tanks are waiting their new inmates via mail today being Killi and RC Shrimp :-D

No. These are Java Ferns and mine started building a ton daughter plants along the leaves in the past week, so let them grow a lil bigger and I will send them all your way if you like :-)

Aww Earl looks so happy in his big tank. Love all the hairgrass. It spread very nicely.

Yea the hairgrass is indeed going pretty well now; at first it didn't wanna do much but once it was settled in now the past uhm maybe ~6 weeks here its REALLY started building nice runners everywhere and filling in...again just like any other tank I need more patience and just let it do its thing over time :-)

My narrow leaf chain sword is starting to get small runners. I can definitely see it filling in the front of the tank nicely in the next few months or so. 1 pot gave me 3 nice size plants, so I space them out across the front of the tank.
