What you think about this list for my new 30g tall?

1 E. Red Rubin
1 E. Red Flame
2 E. Kleiner Bar
2 Crypt Pontederiifolia
1 E. Ozelot
Backround/ sides some Corkscew Vallis

looks good to me!! you're the expert tho!!!

I was thinking (if my vals don't start to amuse me) that i'd check out the red rubin...

they all look good to me, but I personally am not a fan of my vals right now!

Love it, Natalie! I think that will look quite magnificent. You're so good at this, I'm not even sure why you need advice on plants. The answer to your question is YAAAAY!

Johnny, I LOVE the corkscrew Vals. it's the only Val I find that I like. The others are too plain to me. They spiral and add some fun to the tank.

Johnny if you look here http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/f...ary-55g-39001/ you can see how my Vallis where pretty horrible at first and then go look at the last picture from this week.... They just need a lil time to establish really. My pers fav is Corkscrew and Leopard Vallis.

And yes i do need ideas for the new set up no matter how many tanks I planted over the last year a new set up is still a new set up and I need ideas/ comments/ suggestions :-)

:lol: I already got 6 growing in the 45g right now once the daughter plants get some bigger (currently between 1.5-2") they'll likely have to find new homes around here...Or......I'll call the 45g the TIGER a few month from now :lol:

Looks good. That Ozelot is amazing. I have a 3 inch plant growing off one of the two stems that come off the base. Love the Red Rubin choice. It's a gorgeous plant. I'm kind of meh so-so about Vallis now. How about switching it up to weighted Hornwort or Pennywort for background? Just an idea to throw out there.

I'm not entirely sure where the stock on the 30g will take me but these seem like robust plant choices to me. Plus its mostly plants I don't have in the other set ups YET.

I actually thought about the Pennywort earlier too cause I really can not see mine int he 55g any longer and I figure if I use it in the back for the 30g at least I'll be able to see it for once. But I have to really get some Vallis out and into whom ever's tank cause I'm starting to have a issue with VERYYY little light being able to pass by now.

Too much plants growth....some can only dream :-)

Shoot with what you got in your tank now...Just wait just wait :-) I can already see the PM coming my way in about 2-3 months "Nataliiieeee how do I trim that Jungle down" :-)
