you need around 300 gallons minimum for one of them, my local aquarium has a fully grown one, its very big trust me.

Thank you for the Osphronemus Laticvius is very active eater...almost eat anything including it okay? :?: i also have one problem to take care this fish..becauze of going outstation for a period of 2 or 3 to feed the fish when i'm not in home...are there any solutions other than asking my friends to feed him...? tqvm...

you can buy those automatic feeders (there machines, not those little chalky blocks that are meant to last for a few days) they cost around 25 dollars each, you can fit around 2-4 weeks food in there but for a fish that big you might need quite a few of those machines....

ermizam I was just wondering what size tank you have?

ermizam 03-05-2007 11:31 PM

tank size..
3 ft length & 1.5 ft width.....i it ok? :)

musho3210 03-05-2007 11:35 PM

not really, needs at least 6 feet (72 inches) by 2 feet (24 inches) by 2 feet (24 inches)

the tank will be ok while the fish is still small but when it is fully grown it will need a tank that big.
