Kribensis and African Dwarf Frogs?

I have 3 African Dwarf Frogs in a 5 gallon with a male betta. They are producing too much waste in the 5 so I was hoping to move them to a 10 gallon tank I have that houses a pair of Kribensis. They also have 40+ 1.5 month old fry. Would the adults hurt the frogs? And would the frogs eat the fry? Thanks.

I've never kept the two together but it sounds problematic. The frogs might try to eat fry, though I don't think they're quick enough to actively hunt them. The real problem is that the frogs are pretty dopey. As you've probably noticed, the kribs like to lead their little troop of fry around on eating excursions and if a frog is in the way, the adults are likely to harass it relentlessly until it moves away, which it might not be bright enough to do (or at least do effectively). I witnessed this same sort of thing happen with my krib pair and corydoras catfish; the corydoras, unlike your frogs, are well-armored so weren't really bothered by it but I'd be afraid that your much squishier frogs would get pretty torn up.

Yeah I was kind of thinking the same.. :( I guess I'll just have to wait to take the kribs to a petstore. I think the parents have realized there are no predators in the tank so the fry swim around everywhere, the parents dont round them up anymore. They're getting pretty big so I don't think the 10 gallon can support them much longer. Thanks for your help. :)

Well at a certain point they just sort of let the kids do whatever they want. Not too long after that they begin actively chasing them off and not too long after that the kids start...well. You had better split them up soon, haha. Let's just say that you don't want a Hapsburgs sort of situation on your hands.
