Re: First tropical tank
1) Your heater should have a thermostat which will keep the water at a temperature near the one which you specify.
Heaters and thermostats are not universally reliable.
A thermometer will allow you to verify the temperature of the water in your tank.
3) You have many choices!
My hardiest fish are
a) Corydoras Sterbai
c) Neon and Glowlight Tetras
dont forget guppies Ron?
I have black neon tetras and black skirt tetras, they are very hardy. Plus your black skirt might shed its stripes and color like mine did, lol. Now its white, very pretty.
