This happening on a weekly basis, Probably one of the easiest and simple Cichlids to breed. All the way from Nicaragua, They will breed anywhere. So I thought I would take a few shots before they all get eaten again. Shame I know, but I don't have the space to keep the little blighters anyway.

First this is the spot they have chose this time, Just a simple piece of fake white wood made from plastic.

Next this is the female cleaning the eggs.

Keeping the eggs clean by fanning the area, also keeping a fresh flow going over them to stop them getting stale and infected.

Update is the green Sev has eaten a vast majority on his sneeky attacks. :shock:

Glad you're in a jolly mood after becoming a grandfather once in a while(before the sev ate the eggs).:crazy: :tongue: Never knew you'd use a heart-shaped smiley to express your joy and er...enthusiasm.:shock:

This about there 5th attempt there getting better, you have to look close never been much of a camera man. :brow:
