Could I/Should I add more fish or leave asis
 

I have a 20 gallon high cycled tank with a few live plants and tuns of fake plants to provides lots of hiding places and caves. I do plan to replace all the fake plants with live ones slowly over the next few weeks.

Right now I have 2 dwarf gouramis, 4 Golden Pristella Tetras, and 3 corys. Should I add a few more tetras and corys? If so how many? Thanks everyone!

agreed, all tetras like to be in shoals of 6.....same with the corries

Are ya'll sure thats not too many? 16 fish sound like a lot for a 20 gallon.

Nope, that's not too many. You should be just fine. I would add them in two batches though so as not to overload your filter.

That would be ok because tetras produce so little waste that you can keep quite a few of them in a tank

I added 2 more tetras and 2 more pepper corys. I think thats all I'm going to ass as anymore would be a really full tank since its a 20 tall not long. But I love having 6 tetras rather then the 4, looks nice!

I finally got around to take pictures, so here you have it! 2 red dwarf gouramis, 6 Gold Pristella Tetras, and 5 pepper corys.

(My big boys, such strange fish, they love to hang out in the little cups (candle holders) and prefer wafers to pellets)
