Your opinion: the Eheim Pro II 2026

They have it online pretty cheap... it's for a 75 gallon planted tank.

I've read that they're quiet, reliable, easy to use and fairly easy to maintain...

Thoughts? Experience?

Thanks y'all

Quiet, absolutely unless you hold your ears right on it then you'll hear it running but otherwise zip sounds (unless not primed right lol)

Reliable totally I had some Eheims that were like ~15yrs old and still kicking by the time & point I was force to give away my old tanks.

Easily to use yes; maintenance I do mine 1x year (unless you're dealing with hardcore algae outbreaks and/ or medications then I toss in a add maintenance day).

I wanna say the new models have some type of indicator on them now for "cleaning" but as often that's prop gonna show you to do it way more often then its really needed.

So yea if you can get a good deal on it, go for it!
