Can't Even Get Water Wisteria To Live
I have a 20 gallon 30x12x18 inches. 20 watt flourescent lighting which I just recently changed from 8 to 12 hours per day. I add fertalizer. I have a gravel substrate. The tanks only been going for a few months now but I am getting brown leaves more so on the large plants than the smaller cuttings. Neutral Ph and no other testing equipment. Any ideas as to what's going on?
water wisteria normally grows like a weed i would remove the brown leaves and see what it does sometimes plants shed leaves or leaves turn brown after purchase as the plant adjusts to different conditions
More nitrates and pottasium. What are you levels of them now and how much do you dose?
Your lighting is a little low but Wisteria is supposed to grow in almost any light so I don't think it should be a problem. MMaybe drop a root fert tab under it to get it to take off.
Also, make sure the bulb is a good one. Try to find the Kelvin (K) rating and the Lumens to make sure it isn't a generic junk bulb.
