I had an anemone commit suicide on my in my hydor fan, and now I have tons of green moss or something like moss all over. 2 questions
1.Is this a dangerous situation, or just an eye sore?

2.What's the easiest way to get rid of some/all of it?

Thanks

Looks like Green Hair Algae (GHA) mate. Best thing to do is to manually pluck it out. To do this you need to get a bowl or container of freshwater next to you. Puck only a pinch out and then dip your hand into the water container and continue the process. Do this to prevent seeds from spreading in the tank when you pluck it out. The reason you have this in the first place is because your nitrates and phosphates are high in the water. You need to get these in control.

Another variant of this procedure is:

I had a GHA problem a while ago and I did 10% water changes, siphoning water from the display. As I siphoned water, I would suck the alage out with the siphon. Kells is right, you need to get phosphates and nitrates in control. Test your source water.
