I mean its up to the keeper, I do not find corys attractive then same with tetras but people fill their tanks with them.
Beauty in is the eye of the beholder.

I don't think they're ugly at all! They are so pretty zeb_nz. I love the scribble pleco. Good luck with the breeding!! :D

By popular demand, here are pics of my L-46 zebra juveniles...

http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a25...ZebraPleco.jpg

The top one is about 2" and I had it for about 5-6 months now. I got it when it was just under 1". It's kind of skinny, since it had not eaten much. The filter I had in the tank was too strong and sucking up allot of the bloodworms I put down. The new tank I have it in now has lots of plastic plants, wood, & caves so there would be lots of dead spots for the bloodworms to settle.

The bottom one was a recent purchase, about a week. It is just over 1".

Hi Eddie,
Your zebra plecs look nice.
A lot of people especially in UK have been looking for those plecs.
So much for the law of supply and demand.

Thanks. I'm surprised how my original zeb (top) has grown. I can't wait to see them at full size.

Hopefully, I'll get my L-46 breeding colony soon...2 zebras, 4-6 more to go :D. Luckily, I already have a 40 gallon (151 liter) breeder tank, which measures 36" long x 18" wide x 16" tall (about 91cm x 46cm x 41cm). I also have extra filters, extra heaters, an RO-DI unit. Just need to some spawning caves.

where did you get your zebras from?

I get them locally. There's a guy here locally who breeds TONS of plecos, catfish, bettas, show guppies. The nice thing is, I can pick the best, biggest ones.

:shock2: Tons? Now I know why you're willing to part with one for me when you get back here.http://www.tropicalfish.site5.com/ubb/smilies/cwm39.gifhttp://www.tropicalfish.site5.com/ubb/smilies/cwm43.gifhttp://www.tropicalfish.site5.com/ubb/smilies/cwm4.gif
