Looking for Lighting Suggestions
 

Looking to upgrade my current lighting on my 55.

Currently I have 2x18in that are about 15w each. The only plants I have at the moment are a few Java Ferns, but I want to change that. I would like to do some pennywort and a large sword for a centerpiece. Aside from that, I would just like more light to show off the colors on my Rainbows.

The option I'm leaning toward is a dual T5 48". Would this provide suffient lighting for a medium/heavy planted without excessive heat and algae growth?

If it were me, I'd get these. The twin tube fixture requires the wider versa tops. I have the tripple tube fixture which works well. But most on this site do well with the twin tube model. A twin T5HO might be a bit too bright for a 55gal tank.
