Video of my siamese flying fox in my 9 gallon biube
Cute. Are you sure that's not an oto? It sure does look like one.
Oto? I'm not quite sure what that is.
I'm pretty sure it's a siamese flying fox, pets smart had it listed as that and I checked online for pictures
I watched the video again and it sure looks like an oto to me. I keep both otos and a flying fox. Otos have an underslung suckermouth while the flying fox doesn't. Pet Smart has been known to be wrong, but so have I!

Ah, damn. I think it IS an oto.
I need to buy him a friend then.
Thank you for the heads up!
Be glad he's an oto! Is this a 9 gl tank? If so, a flying fox gets to be much too large for a tank your size and requires some swimming room. A trio of otos would be perfect!
Pet Smart, strikes again.
Well pets smart had it listed as Siamese Flying Fox then its max length as one inch, so...Stupid pets smart, I'll be sure to do better research when purchasing fish I'm not familiar with
