this is the best pic i can get of my smallest pleco, BJ! can u tell me if he indeed is simply a common? he is slightly different in colour to my other common?

My commons looked reddish when young.
He'll darken with age if he's a common.

if its not a common it could possibly be a Gibby but its hard to tell from the photo can you get anymore? Bad new if it is a gibby they can reach approximately 2 feet, does he look like any of these?

but noe quite!! hes very dark in colour, and orange, my fone is terrible for takin pics. ive had him for about a year and hes grown but his colour hasnt changed, he does look different to my common

commons can very in tones ranging from v dark brown to a sort of clay color

It is a gibby/sailfin pleco :D
