Hey Everyone

I thought I would actually post here since I am new, though I did post elsewhere a few times first :)

I have been keeping fish for about 4 years. A long time amongst my friends, but definately not that long in the scheme of most fish enthusists. All my tanks are Freshwater Tropical Fish, and I am very open to suggestions, and comments on my tanks. I have only just recently started to put real plants in my tanks. So please feel free to look at my tanks and make suggestions that will make them look, and work better.

My goal is to try and balance my tanks between what looks nice, and what the fish like. Hope to talk and meet with all of you!

Welcome to TFK!

What kind of lights are those purple ones you've got on the 55g and the 10g's? Black lights? They look pretty cool.

Just standard 15 W fluresent. I think it is just the gravel/marble mix that gives it the look. I do a mix of a really light blue and a dark blue then toss in some light and clear marble rocks in it. when you turn off the room lights and leave the aquarium lights on it gives it that cool black light type glow.
