male or female??
Hi all ...
does anybody have any idea on how to tell males from females on
columbian blue flame tetra's ? I have searched the web and can't find anything to help me figure it out.All i can find is that it is difficult to tell males from females..
Males are more colorful and have more elaborate fins.
Does that Help any? Do you already have some?
If so can we see pictures so I can tell you the sex's?
we have 2 that are about 1 1/2 years old and just got 3 juviniles yesterday they are prolly half the sive of the other 2..
Heres a pic of one of the large ones..
From what i can tell they all look the same..Oh my i hope we don't have all males...the 2 larger ones are always squaring off like there testing each other.Kinda like they are trying to dominate each other..I'll try to get some more pics of the others soon if i can get lucky and get a decent shot.
heres a few more pics..
I can't tell them apart, one site i read said the males are bigger and a different site says the females are bigger..
i took about a 1 minute video if that helps..
