Odd Betta Behavior/Look
Hey guys sorry i havent posted in a while
been busy with finding a job and my new turtle turt
I have a small problem
ive been watching my betta [Ramses] lately and he seems ANGRY
hes normally passive, and a huge chicken
thats what i liked about him :P
anyway hes had snails in his tank for who knows how long [which are now treats for my turtle]
and hes never had a problem
but lately when he sees one on the glass or wherever he flairs out his fins and his Labyrinth [i think thats the thing they flare out at their gils when they are mad] for no reason
ive even seen him try to bite a few. obvs their shells make it impossible
ive had him since like july and hes never been aggressive like this
also his stomach is kinda bloated
i thought it might be Dropsy but i looked at him from the top and his scaled arent all spikey like a "pinecone"
any ideas on either of these problem would help D:
How often and what are you feeding your betta??
What size tank do you house him in?
i feed him betta fish flakes once a day every morning
he is in a 5 galon aquarium right now
I would try feeding him a good pellet food like Hikari betta bio gold or Wardleys pellets.
that will make him not bloaded?
I would feed him pellets as his staple diet. Try fasting him for a few days, then feed him some daphnia for a few days. Hopefully that will help.

Most LFS carry it, at least the ones in my neghborhood do.
if its so small how do i know if hes eating it? .2mm! :O lmao
lol! Yeah, I know. It looks like sawdust and it doesn't smell to good, either.
