Plant ID and more
ID? Also, is there any plants anybody can think of that have like vines? i want to have the vines/roots(i guess) hang down off some driftwood or something
To me that's a very pale Hygrophila.
Plants that would grow on rock/ driftwood and spread their roots on it would be Anubia's and Java Fern's
Another thought on vines, try Pennywort. One stock planted beside a piece of wood could be maneuvered over the wood and allowed to then grow to the surface, but along the way it can be bent around wood, sticks, plants...sort of creating a vine look without a vine. Pennywort is a good plant for this because it tends not to lose lower leaves, and grows fast and does grow over and around anything, not adhering to it, but will stay there.
My suggestion would be to google image "hygrophila"...I ID'ed a hygrophila just this morning that I've had for months and didn't know what specific one it was, and I finally figured it out by page three of the google search. I actually saw a couple that looked like yours but it was hard to tell (pinkish tone and broader leaves).
