Stocking 36 Gallon
I recently purchased a 36 aqueon bow front fish tank and I'm looking at fish that I want to get forit. I want some sort of eel or rope fish, something with a long snakey body. I also want some sort of pleco to go with it but nothing to big. I'm looking for about 6 fish to fit in this tank. If you guys have any suggestions that would be great, I have an open mind.
Eels and especially rope fish are going to get too big for a tank of that size, but if you're looking for the elongated snake like body maybe consider kuhli loaches?
Again, with size in mind, instead of a pleco what about a couple of ottos? (otocinclus)
With those 2 species that opens the door to most tetras and livebearers for you as tankmates, possibly a dwarf gourami... Lots of possibilities.
