i need quick answer ok say u take 20 percent out fish tank u put 20 percent back but u dont have anything to take out chlorine cuz u ran out and didnt rememeber to get more will fish live or do u need to get go get more or will they be fine seeing u only took 20 percent the water out |
depends how much chlorine is in your water and how the fish will want to react. if you run a red light will someone hit your or will you make it? |
i make it lol |
I would NEVER chance something like that. It's safer to put off the pwc for a day or two than risk the chance off killing your fish. |
yea i just found an a bottle in the back wooohooooo has some in it to finish the job then throwing that one away |
you can also leave water to sit out for a couple of days and the chlorine will dissipate, if temp isn't an issue. |
That's not completely true. Chlorine will dissipate, yes, but chloramine doesn't dissipate so easily. Neither do heavy metals or things like ammonia. I'd stick with the water conditioner. |
+1 batman |
true...and all the ammonia (tons) in my tap water wouldn't dissipate either : | |
My water doesn't have chlorine in it:-). I know with hardy fish small waterchanges like 10% don't cause a problem because the tank will dilute it. Other than that, stick with the conditioner. Putting of a WC a day or a couple usually does no harm. |
