Swordtail livelyness
 

So my swordtails after i got a fake rock shelf always hid under it. That has changed since i got some plants for the aquarium. I have seen such a HUGE change in behavior in them. They come up to the front of the tank and look at me before being pushed away by the biggest male. Instead of being in the corner they are in the middle roaming around moving they're mouths like they are talking. They are also "socializing" with my old zebra danio who doesn't really take to the younger danios in the tank tat i have gotten within the month. I also have 2 young Zebra Danios and 2 Long Fin Danios(+ the one older zebra danio) and the young Zebra danios are territorial about the left side of the tank were there is the rock shelf and some plastic and live plants. Now there is no Fin Nipping but whenever a Long Fin danio comes by they are quickly shooed away to the other side of the tank. This is all making me very happy for they are now happy. Also a really point to this to beginners is to have plants and shelves for the Swordtails to hide it really brings them out.

they will usually establish terratories and then the other tank m8s will keep away but after some time they will learn to live with one and other and begin allowing the other fish within there own terratories :):):)

ya the danios love to hide in tight places. Now i'm making a cave for them to roam through
