What's ya'll simple/ quick fix soul foods????

I just ate one of mine: Homemade Mac&Cheese with fried Okra YUMMMM
Another fav for me is green bean casserole & cornbread from scratch Or homemade real Italian style pizza

Either one of these can make the worst of days good for me :-) Thou as long as its home made and not 'open the box' I'll eat ya just about anything:-D

Chocolate Ice cream... :) Mixed up so it's nice and soft... MMmmmmmm

Enchiladas and Spanish rice.

Cornbread in Milk.....yummmm...yummmm....

and fried potatoes....

Homemade chicken soup with a chunk of crusty bread.

Homemade bread.

BBQ any of it. smoked, grilled, roasted. all of it. yummy.

Pierogi casserole. I know it as Perohi but I'm a hunky. Halushki- cabbage cut into pieces sauteed with onions and butter then put over wide egg noodles with cottage cheese mixed in. Both are Ukranian/Polish/Eastern Europe type stuff using what they had available to them. But it's sooooo good. Halupki or stuffed cabbages. Not a quick to make item but oh man. Delicious
