Nice!!!! I love community tanks either those or a tank full of 1 or 2 species of schooling fish...anyways nice tank, what kind of fish/plants are in there?

pretzelsz 01-30-2010 07:51 PM

There are 7 Swordtails, 3 Zebra Danios, and 2 NEW Long Fin Danios. I forgot the name of the grassy looking plant but the other is a sword plant. Also I cut some of the grass plant and let it float on the top(only temporary). Also could i put the grassy plant in my Betta tank or is it harmful to him?

Nice those are all sweet fish, and i'm not 100% positive but i don't thing it will hurt your Betta and he will love the cover!

Phil :)

I love to see how you're exchanging the plastic for live plants; wonderful change to follow. :-)

Y it looks SO much ore natural now and that is what i like. It also goes with my room(thats a BIG +) after i get driftwood and more plants its bye by to all plastic plants and to the 1 tacky decoration left(no not my pretty pig)

...all I can say...wonderful.....I'm always glad when I see people change from plastic to live and so far I actually never met anyone who's regretted it :-) Like I keep on saying here Its too simple really :-)

I like the plants...you might double check on that lighter yellow/green striped one as I've read they aren't true aquarium plants and don't last long in tanks.

I like the zebra danios...allo f the actually!

it isnt a true aquarium plant but it is a good start
