Unfortunately a lot times you'll have a hard time finding the painted, tattooed fish in the databases...
They'll grow to ~2", best kept in groups (like any tetra) in a set up of 18g+; Temp 75-80F pH 5.5-7 hardness 1-10 (like most Tetras); Tank set up ideally dark substrate with plenty of plants (naturally home to dim lit forest streams), very peaceful Tetras and to be kept with other peaceful fish. Will eat just about anything offered (frozen foods, flakes etc).
Hope this helps ya?

The painted fish are injected with dyes, which really do a number on the fish. Many people boycott buying the fish, some even boycott stores that sell injected/tattooed fish. Whether you want to keep them is entirely up to you, but do a little research first, just like any other fish. Companies do that to the fish because people who are new to the hobby will buy them because the fish catch their eye. Fish stores sell them for the same reason. I hear they don't last very long.
