the pleco whisperer
i not sure if this is common knolage but when clearing out a tank containing a large/medium pleco i found that if you just slip a hand under its belly and pick it up it stays dead still and calm, while catching in a container or net causes them to thrash madly anyone else noticed this?
U sure it hasnt died? LMAO
my plecs put up a fight but your right, you can pick them up
dont they have hard spines that can stab you if not careful?
yup some of them certainly do, I'd like to see this technique tried with my big royal lol, she would end up on the floor before she allowed me to pick her up
its odd perhaps its just me hence the title of this thread :P
Bristly have mouth stabbers too.
