the pleco whisperer
i not sure if this is common knolage but when clearing out a tank containing a large/medium pleco i found that if you just slip a hand under its belly and pick it up it stays dead still and calm, while catching in a container or net causes them to thrash madly anyone else noticed this?

yup some of them certainly do, I'd like to see this technique tried with my big royal lol, she would end up on the floor before she allowed me to pick her up
