star fish

ok well this morning i found this red dot about 1cm in diameter, it looked like pink algea growth but it was on my power cord to my power head, this after noon i had a closer look and relised this dot had 4 legs (1 must of been chewed off) and was slowly creeping its way up the cord.its a dark red...how bad is this for my whole eco system now? is it gonna start chewing on my live rock which have alreaddy taken a month to start growing or what?

Your live rock come with many many things living in it. I guanantee you that you will find more things with time. There is nothing you can do about it and they wont hurt anything. Our tank has been set up for over a year and we are still finding new little things. So just enjoy what you live rock had to offer. :)

yeah man, mine had a nudibranch in it and it was only pre cured and it still lived. Everything in the live rock travels very deep into the center of the rock during curing and shippin. and can live there for a long time.
