oenone fulgida worm
Unfortunately I only removed part of him.
I've lost hermits, zoas, a firefish, peppermint shrimp and a jawfish. A set a soda bottle trap for whatever took the fish-they completely vanished-and found the oenone eating the cod bait.
My plan is to move the likely rock to a bare tank 55, and put hermits in both tanks. I hope that will determine which bunch of rock holds the unknown predator. Then I can break or RO soak the offending rock.
Has anyone known a oenone to take fish?
100 gallon, rock, canister filter, 1.025, 78F. Four pajama cardinals, two Banggai cardinals.
There are alot of worms that look similar to the one you have mentioned. If I am not mistaken the fulgida is a clam eater but I have not seen one for some time and never seen them take fish. I have seen many bristle worms get rather large, infact this comes to mind about a large fire worm.
Yes, but he's doing clean up.
