iv had my female blue gourami now for 2-3 months, iv never once seen her eat....will she eat during the night?
she hids all day and never comes out and when she does com out its for a quick breath from the top of the water ....!!!!

My dwarf doesn't really "hunt" when I put the flakes in, he just eats whatever blows past his face. Mine really likes TetraVeggie "extreme" algae wafers, maybe you could try those. Or blanched zucchini.

Sounds like your fish might not feel comfortable in the tank. Gouramies really benefit from floating plants and other cover that reaches up toward the surface of the water. Gouramies typically spend most of their time hanging out near the surface so if your fish is hanging out in a cave or something lower in the tank, I'd say something is definitely off.

no she just hids all the time at the top of the filter...shes not got any damage or problems
