Definatly kenyi. Be careful with them though. They are one of the most aggressive mbunas out there. Make sure you have a big tank and plenty of fish to divert aggression. They really are beautiful fish.

im gonna be moving them to a larger tank once they get a little bigger. probably a 30 Gallon

What size tank are they in now? A good size tank for mbunas is 55. I suppose you could keep one in a 30 or dwarf mbunas but not kenyi.

their in a 10 G right now. really 55? we used to have 55 a long time ago but ended up getting rid of it because my mom got tired of cleaning it (I was still pretty young and didnt know what i was doing) ill see if i can get a hold of a tank around that size for a reasonable price. but until then this is all i have. they seem to be doing perfect in here tho, they have already killed and eaten one of the ghost shrimp that are in there. and i see what you mean when you say they are the most aggressive of the mbuna i also have one electric yellow cichlid in there and they are completely dominant over her she lets them eat first and only picks up the leftovers. if any of you have an extra tank around that size laying around that you wouldn't mind shipping to NM PM me it would be greatly appreciated

Lol sorry i don't have any spare tanks that size. I'm currently looking for a 90 for my central american cichlids and the 55 I do have has mbunas in it. Don't worry, 55 are real common and I bet you can find one cheap on craigslist. They will be fine for a while. You think they are aggressive now? Wait until they get 2-3in then they really get mean. That's when mine starting showing off.
