sponge

Is it growing or is it bad?
Will it change to an orange color later? ( this is if it is growing)

notice the tip of the sponge

if it is bad what do I do?

I can't give you an honest answer as to whether or not that area is growing or recessing, none of my sponge has ever done that. BUT, many SPS do grow that way. They shoot out a white calcified bit and then cover it in flesh.
