Platy Breeding Question

  1. How many fry do females drop on average?
  2. How many in a batch are "keepers"?
  3. How long until platy fry reach sexual maturity?
  4. How many birthings do females have from one breeding?
Thankyou in advance!

1. this depends on the age size and condition of the female.....for examplae a younger fish may have less then a fish thats maybe 1 year old.....
2. not quite sure what this question means...but i think you mean to keep the healthy ones and this also depends on the condition of the parents as to the condition of the fry when they arrive.
3. i have heard it can be as quick as 4 weeks to 1 year.
4. it can be up to 3 with guppys and i think its the same with platys...
