champagne(female guppy) finally gave birth today :):) she went a little square so i popped her in my net in the most unstressful way possible, she was fie, an hour later i checked, she had 8 babies! unfortunately only 4 survived as the other fish were sucking at them through the net, so i fed them to thew others and put the remaining in a plastic trap along with my 3 month old fry!!! all doin well::):):) now decided im not gonna try to save any more and simply let them be feeders

congrats on the fry :D . i did get another tank to keep my fry in till they are ready to go to their new homes. thought it was only little when i bought it off ebay 16 litre but when i got there it was 45 litre so bigger and better thats what i say. hope moms ok :D

can always count on u roger, to reply to livebearer posts ;) mum seems to b just fine, tho i lost mum of the others shortly after birth, so fingerz crossed :):) id like another tank but simply can afford 1 right now

Congrats on the new babies. My mommy molly just just gave birth AGAIN 2nd time in 1 month, but all the babies were stillborn =(

sorry to hear that, i have trouble with my molly givin birth, her eggs r never fertilized

sorry to hear that guys i lost both of my females who had fry. but looking forward to some sword tail fry fingers crossed

u lost them both? oh no, im hopin mum will b ok this time round, i think it was her first batch of fry. turns out she had 9! sptted one in the tank this mornin and managed to save the lil guy b4 it got eaten :)
