My first planted tank
 
Size: 15 gallons 24x12x12
Lighting: 2x 14 watt T5, DIY casing (still incomplete, will modify later)
Filtration: Haiyang internal filter rated for 300 lph (Can't find the box and model number)
Substrate: Black Sand
Flora: Anubias, Vallisneria, Bacopa, Sword plant, Moss, and Fern
Fauna: 8 Tiger Barb, 1 Bristlenose Pleco, 1 Shrimp

No CO2 or fertilizers at the moment, but I'm planning to add soon.

Ah, your tank looks great! The real concern here is 8 tigers in a 15. They require a MUCH larger tank than 15gl.

I have a friend who has 8 in a 10 gallon and they've been fine for over a year. Not trying to dispute anyone though. I just go with what works.

I've read about them and the most popular opinion is that they need a 24" tank for 6-8 individuals, which my tank satsifies. I do understand that I'm a bit pushing it with my stocking here, that's why I compensate with religious monitoring of water quality.

Maybe a few months from now I might switch these fish out for another yet-to-be determined stock, preferably one with a lighter bioload.
