ok so i have a couple amazon sword plants that i yet have not got to pruning. some of the leaves are full of holes from the angels when they clean their spawning spots(which i'm most worried about). and i have a few that are starting to turn a little of color with hints of brown(which i'm not to worried about). now is there a correct way to prune these sword plants or do i just start cutting them off??

Pinch of the 'broken' leaf's at the very bottom of the stem right where it meets your gravel. Ideally you only wanna remove leaf's from the outer part of the plant not from the 'inner cycle' where its new sprouts come out.

I would suggest that the "holes" may not be from angels but rather a nutrient deficiency, particularly as you mention browning spots and the two are often together. Do you use any fertilizer, and if so, what and how often? And do you have CO2 diffusion?
