Why is my fish tank cloudy? did i do something wrong?
I had added dechlorinatior, GH cionditioner, Amazon KH powder, i was wondering why it cloudy, i have added plants today in the tank but i don't think it cause the tank to be cloudy, before i purchase it the lady say to leave it for 24 hours to set but it only been 5 hours ( dont worry there's no fish in there) I have posted picture below

Just a couple questions...How long has the tank been set up? Is the filter medium brand new?

I set up the tank last night with heater only, the filter is not brand new, I'm not sure how old it is but I added the chemicals, then put the filter on and added the plants

New tanks are very often cloudy. It comes from bacteria, the substrate, new materials...all manner of things! It's perfectly harmless though, and will go away on it's own/with time and water changes :)

MissBec, do you understand the Nitrogen Cycle? It sounds like she told you to let it set for 24 hours before you can add fish and that isn't the case.
