Any one have any suggestions?

There can be 2 simple reasons for this, and I'd stress over neither one and just have lil patience

1) You used sand or unwashed gravel which makes the water cloudy, but will clear within a day or two by the filter
2) You tank's been set up a few days already and the bacteria is working its way to cycle your tank. Again once the process is completed you'll have clear water (and not to scare you but depending on the circumstances this can take few days or 2 weeks, so just be patient)

Either case to "fix" it....just wait it out and you'll be just fine. Messing with it would be exactly the wrong thing to do in a brand new set up :-)

PS 36 bow front...I wanna see pictures that sounds nice :-)

How are you cycling the tank...fishless, with fish? Have you tested the water? Can you post your water parameters for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and Ph?

I've not used the flourite before but I have heard that even after rinsing it it can cloud your tank.

If by "I just set up my new tank" you actually mean that "you just set it up"... then I would tend to think that Angel's #1 above is your culprit. It should clear in a few days... and then you'll get different problems :-)

No sweat! We'll help you out!

Glad to hear it - Sometimes all a fish keeper needs is a lil patience and all will be fine :-)
