how to bring colors out
anybody knw how to make a oscar stay these coloros instead of him revirting back to pure black like he always does ten mins later
Im not an oscar expert but I think he will grow out of the "all blcak" phase when he puts on size. Other than that good diet and water is all I can reccomend.
i agree with rrcoolj on them having a good diet and along with keeping it's water structures that they strive in. also i'm not an expert on oscars , but i know that lots of fish out there will go from showing very bright colors to even very dull. it's their ways of showing off what mood they are in. anyway i like your picture
There are also foods you can feed him to bring out those oranges (although as was stated, these will really only show up once he's more mature). Omega One Oscar Show will be a good choice (but for now their Oscar Grow would be better). Also, frozen foods like krill will help bring out those bright oranges.
yea i noticed i been giving him shrimp and frozen foood and blood worms and flakes his colors are coming out its awesome :)
