Have you ever...

Have you ever done something that has terrified you, just to prove to yourself that you could? If I was to tackle my biggest fear then it would be to hold a spider, but I'll never bring myself to do that.

This was the next best thing. I abseilled off a crane in Glasgow for charity... turned out it was great fun and I'd love to do it again.

I give blood every 3 months, even though I have a phobia and real bad fear of needles.

Man i would eat a hand full of spiders before i would even climb that thing lol. I am deathly afraid of heights. As for needles i once had a nurse break one off in my arm.

Well, I got fishies and set up my own tank even though my family and closest friend thought I couldn't. But no, I cant think of anything off the top of my head that I have really done. Most things are long term and are barely in effect

As for meeting a fear, yah, I fell off my pony, which is my biggest fear. I have fallen off before, but that was into soft grass, or off a tiny pony, and I got up laughing about it. This was more serious, in that I got pretty hurt, and my confidence was shaken for a long time. But on Saturday I rode her the ENTIRE way on the trail and back, without getting off, and just a few spooks and gallops!

Oh, by the way, what is abseilling? (I dont think I spelled that right)
