Most fragile/delicate among tetras?
Was curious which tetra is the most prone to diseases? And which ones are the hardiest? 2-3 suggestions are welcomed. Would like to know from everyone's perspective.

its hard for me to say which tetras would be more prone to diseases, but rummynose's are very intolerant of bad water parameters, and tetras arent a good fish to add to a new aquarium, they should only be introduced once the tank is established and stable....(usually around 2-3months)...........For hardy species, i would suggest the black skirt tetras (or various color combos, they have breed into them) or maybe serpae tetras.....the only problem with serpaes, htey have a reputation for being fin nippers if not kept in a large group......Hope this helps you out.......Good Luck!!!!

Small fish in general tend to be intolerant of poor maintenance practices. Most tetras are small fish. If you keep up on your tank maintenance, do regular water changes, and quarantine new additions before adding them you should do fine. There's just very little room for slacking off.
