Is it too risky to cycle the same fish twice?
I'm planning on upgrading to a much larger tank and used platies to cycle my current tank. Is it dangerous to use the same fish to cycle with? By that I mean too stressful.
Also, these are the fish I'm planning for in a 36 or larger gallon tank:
8 assorted platies
10 neon tetras
2 dwarf gourami
2 honey gourami
1 albino or chocolate bristlenose
cherry red shrimp
How would that work?
As long as the fish are not stressed and are in excellent health conditions, then I have no doubts for them to be used for cycling.
Yeah if they are in good shape i dont see why you couldnt. I have before with out loosing them.
