White Clouds and Cryptocornes?

Apparently the thick bunch of stems of a Cryptocorne plant is ok with White Clouds for breeding. I have a pair depositing eggs in the center of this one.

I decided to try and raise some more. I carefully siphoned the entire crypt they were spawning in and the gravel around it. I put the siphoned water in the nursery tank. Hopefully in the next few days I'll see some fry in both tanks.

This in the nursery tank. It's used mostly for plants but is always ready for visitors. Growing Wisteria and rotala indica, java moss, hornwort...

I managed to save one fry into the nursery tank so far. I have only seen 1. The lone survivor of the first hatching...

Hey at least 1 made it...and now that the parents figure out how *it* works I'm sure there'll be more to come soon :-)

Well the tank just received about 48x12 solid plant cover. New plants came in for the 75g and it's too early for that one. So all the plants are serving as fry cover, temporarily.
